I'm just going to hold it momma...

Let me set up the situation.

Walk into Publix to grab a rotisserie chicken for dinner. Of course my child has a memory like an elephant and knows every time we step into this store they have COOOKIIIESSS!.

whose genius idea was that anyways?

Me: Okay you can have 1 cookie but you cannot eat it until after dinner
Baby B: Okay momma I am just going to hold it.

She is doing a great job while we grab the chicken and head to the check out. Driving home may be another story.
She insists on holding the cookie in her carseat but she WILL NOT eat it.

Then my instincts get to me and I turn around to check on her in the back seat.
She is LICKING the cookie....hahah what the heck.!

Momma: what in the world are you doing I told you not to eat that until after dinner babe.
Baby B: but momma i'm not eating it i'm only licking it.

well dang I guess the girls right I can't really argue can I?

a tough decision

here is a little back story:
Baby B has been going to the same daycare since she was 8 months old. She is now 2 1/2 so everyone she is in class with she has moved up with. She has been connected at the hip with Baby H (mind you hes a boy) and we have always called them "Boyfriend" & "Girlfriend" ha. Does that even count their 2 they have no idea what that means. (or so we hope ;) ).

Anyways apparently some other boys have been trying to take her hand in marriage.

hence the little dialogue below between another boy in her class and his momma:

Baby Cs Momma:
C informed me that "Sue Sue" was not his girlfriend anymore because she was bossy and it was now Brooke Brooke! (I though Brooke Brooke was Hagen's girl) oh let the day care drama begin.

Seriously does this happen already??!! If yes, were literally up shits creek without a paddle.

Love,
Momma B

and here come the excuses..

Okay here is when I ask you to put yourself in my shoes...

and its bath time.
same ritual every day.
7:30pm.
baby B is in the bath and its time to brush her teeth.
I get her tooth brush like usual, apply the tooth paste.
walk over to the bath and say "Okay babygirl lets brush your teeth"

and out pops the excuse: "but momma you can't brush my teeth, my knees are hurting"

what in the world do you say because as hard as I was trying not to laugh that's all that would come out. Please tell me I am not alone here.

and it has begun we are officially screwed.
